10" PVC Square SHAKER PANEL Column Wrap
Elite Shaker Column with crisp clean lines is well suited for today's modern architecture. The deep-paneled divider trim is applied on-site at any height once the shaft is cut to size. Our PVC column wraps are quick and easy to install as well as lightweight, strong and paintable. They hold up to warping, shrinkage, decay, and insects and they don't need to be painted. Our PVC wraps are made with premium "Free Rise" cellular PVC. The shaft is shipped in four easy-to-cut-to-size panels. All you need is a chop saw and basic carpentry tools to install.
Our Shaker PVC columns include innovative adjustable dividers that slide in place on the job site. You can adjust your panel sizing to fit your railing height or your design preference. The columns are shipped with four 1” thick panels with big mitered corners that make the assembly fast and secure and leave no visible seams.
Specifications
The column kit comes complete with 3 oz of PVC adhesive, tape, installation cleats, mounting hardware and instructions. The shafts is made from 4 PVC panels with a lock mitre joint for easy glue assembly with outside dimensions of 9 ⅜" and 7 ¼" square inside. The 3/4" thick PVC box/base adds 1 1/2" inches to the shaft's thickness, making the overall footprint 13 ⅜".
This package includes our Ultra-smooth 10" Premier Box Capital and Base set. For columns 4 to 6 feet high, the base and capital are both equal in height and for columns 8 feet or higher, the Base is taller.
For columns 8 feet or higher, we include a set of middle dividers (4 pieces). The dividers are taped in place but can be installed at any height, to mount railings or suit your decorative preference. For columns 6 feet or shorter, middle dividers are not included but may be purchased additionally.

Options
Additional dividers can be ordered separately. Columns 8 feet or longer are shipped with one set.
One foot shaft extension, should the application require the extra height.
A four-foot section of cap base is used as an astragal trim or neck mould.
A Tuscan cap and base set
This column can also be ordered as a newel post to support the railing or made as a pilaster to go up against a wall.
