Flexible Chair Rail 2 1/2" x 5/8" thick, sold at different lengths.

Although yellowish in colour, it accepts primer and paint the same way as MDF does. Perfect for curved staircases, curved walls, arched windows or arched openings. When installed next to the ridge counterpart forms a seamless joint. To save on costs, maximize the use of the rigid MDF profile and use the polyurethane equivalent only for the curved portion of the project.

I liked how easy it was to install and how beautiful it looks being one piece across the arch. It was not easy to paint however. It required sanding before applying the latex paint. That should be a step to include when you are instructing how to finish the product.
