PVC Square Channel Siding - Shiplap

Square Channel, Shiplap PVC Siding, in various widths.  Cellular PVC Siding ready except paint, is waterproof, rot and insect resistant.  These qualities have made this type of siding increasingly more popular for exterior accent walls, garages, laundry rooms.  As Ship Lap planks or boards are thinner than tongue and groove planks, they are better suited for walls that already have a backing, like drywall or wall board.

Square Channel, Shiplap PVC Siding, is available in various widths:  

• The 6" PVC profile is ⅜" thick and about 5 ½" wide, of which 5 ¼" is showing.
• The 8" PVC profile is ⅜" thick and about 7 ½" wide, of which 7" is showing.
• The 10" PVC profile is ⅜" thick and about 9 ⅛" wide, of which 8 ⅞" is showing. 

Area Covered:
The 6" wide, 8 ft length Plank covers 3.5 sq. ft.; and the 12 ft length covers 5.25 sq. ft. of area.
The 8" wide, 8 ft length Plank covers 4.7 sq. ft.; and the 12 ft length covers 7 sq. ft. of area.
The 10" wide, 8 ft length Plank covers 6.6 sq. ft.; and the 12 ft length covers 9.9 sq. ft. of area.

When installing, we recommend adding construction adhesives like "No More Nails" or PL Premium, along with mechanical fasteners for a stronger hold.
