Everyone remembers a relaxing summer vacation to a cottage on a lake or winter ski lodge where the natural beauty of Pine or Wooden Boards used on the wall took you to another time and place.  There is something to be said about Tongue and Groove's rustic, natural look, which creates its mood.

Elite Trimworks has found an easy way to incorporate the beauty of wooden planks into your home decor.  Using our reversible planks, you can easily give any wall or ceiling that unmistakable charm.  Our MDF planks come double Primed and accept paint easily.

Our Reversible "V" Groove MDF Planks are easy to order and install.  Each plank has a Tongue and Groove edge (as shown in the cross-section), which allows each plank to lock into the next.  The ends are cut straight from the mill, and with a "Tongue and Groove" router set, you can machine your tongue to end-match for long runs, just like hardwood flooring.  These MDF planks are ⅝" thick by 6" wide, commonly referred to as 1 x 6's and typically 8 feet long.  They are also available 16 ft long.

The "V" groove is either 3 ⅜" or 5 ¾" apart, as shown.  These planks are perfect for ceilings, walls and closets.  These planks are preferred over drywall for walls in cottages that are unheated over the winter since they are much easier to install and won't crack in the winter.  

To calculate how many planks your job requires, each 8 foot-plank covers 3.75 square feet, and each 16-foot plank covers 7.5 square feet.
