Custom Paint Fee - Dark Colour

This fee is only on shutters orders less than $4,000. This fee covers the cost of Heat Reflexive, Latex Exterior Paint, most often from AquaSurTech. This fee is for those who would prefer a dark colour with a LRV higher than 55, a specially formulated Heat-Reflective paint is applied.

According to our PVC suppliers, only light to medium coloured paints with a light reflective value of 55 units or greater should be applied to Cellular PVC. Using a paint with an LRV below 55 units will void our product warranty. Don’t assume the paint is a light colour. Too many times we have had cases where customers believe the colour they choose was a light colour only to find out it had an LRV in the 20s or 30s.
