For added strength, this bracket can be ordered with an integrated aluminum frame designed to support light decorative elements with confidence. Carpenters may also choose to fabricate their own internal support using pressure-treated 2×4 framing, allowing full control over structural requirements.

What to expect on delivery:
-Non-load-bearing brackets ship fully assembled and hollow Mounting cleats are included for straightforward installation
-PVC adhesive and masking tape are provided when on-site assembly is required
-Structural brackets ship with the top PVC panel dry-fit, allowing final gluing after the internal frame is installed

Internal testing confirms that our aluminum frame reliably supports up to 100 kg (220 lbs)—ideal for decorative rafters and architectural accents. For applications exceeding this scope, such as canopies, balconies, or permit-required structures, we recommend ordering the PVC bracket without the aluminum frame. In these cases, a local engineer should design a custom internal structure to fit within the bracket cavity and meet all code requirements.
