Once installed, a single coat of paint completes the look. For a classic, cohesive style, paint both the wall and moulding the same colour, or introduce contrast with a different paint tone or wallpaper within the recessed areas to create visual interest.

Recessed Wall Panelled Wainscot Straight Stair Kit, 8ft Long. The kit comes complete with enough material to cover 8 linear feet of inclining / straight wall, including:
1 x Wainscot Cap, with 5/8" backset, 95"
1 x Reversible Wainscot Upper Rail, 95"
1 x Recessed Lower Rail, 95"
1 x PVC Shoe Trim, 95"
2 x Recessed Stile, 95"

The stiles need to be customized on-site to the desirable stair height you want. The stiles must be cut on an angle and shaped with the Router Bit on site. The two Recessed Stiles, 8ft can make anywhere from 4 - 6 stiles, once cut down, depending on the height of the system and the angle of your stairs. The rails and stiles are made from primed MDF, the Cap Trim is made from poplar, and the Shoe Trim is made from PVC for better impact and moisture resistance.

You may want to order the matching router bit from us to customize your styles.  The 8-foot stiles can make anywhere from 4 to 6 stiles depending on the height of the system and the angle of your stairs.
