Custom Paint Fee - Light Colour

This fee is only for shutters order less than $2,000.  This fee covers the cost of standard, Light, Latex Exterior Paint, most often from Benjamin Moore.

According to our PVC suppliers, only light to medium coloured paints with a light reflective value of 55 units or greater should be applied to Cellular PVC. Using a paint with an LRV below 55 units will void our product warranty. Don’t assume the paint is a light colour. Too many times we have had cases where customers believe the colour they choose was a light colour only to find out it had an LRV in the 20s or 30s.

For those who would prefer a dark colour with a LRV higher than 55, a specially formulated Heat-Reflective Paint should be applied.
