Large Reeded - MDF Moulding

Transform walls, ceilings, cabinetry, and more with our Large Reeded MDF Primed Moulding. Designed for larger rooms and feature walls, this bold profile creates strong architectural detail without the time-consuming preparation required with raw MDF panels.

Each plank is approximately ¾" thick and features six 1" wide reeds running the full length. The moulding arrives with an ultra-smooth, double-primed finish, saving valuable preparation time on site while providing an excellent surface for the final paint finish.

For faster, cleaner installations, each plank features a precision shiplap edge that allows adjoining boards to fit together seamlessly. The joints are strategically positioned within the reeded pattern, helping create a nearly invisible transition from plank to plank. See our installation illustrations for additional detail.

Each plank is approximately 6¾" wide and provides about 6" of exposed reeded coverage once installed. As a simple estimating guide, two planks provide approximately 12" of wall width coverage.

Available in 10 ft lengths and stocked in-house for quick shipping, these mouldings can also be cut down to 8 ft lengths where appropriate to help reduce shipping costs. They are ideal for feature walls, ceilings, backsplashes, cabinetry, custom millwork, and a wide range of residential or commercial interior applications.

Made from primed MDF and designed to be finish-painted on site, these planks deliver a refined architectural look while helping save time during installation and finishing.

For a more budget-friendly or smaller-scale option, explore our primed MDF planks with ½"wide reeds. Their narrower profile is well suited for smaller rooms, shorter runs, and projects where a more subtle linear detail is preferred.

Elite Trimworks also offers a wide selection of beaded, grooved, reeded, and nickel-gap planks, panels, and sheets. Explore our designer inspirational rooms to see how these architectural details can transform an ordinary space into something exceptional.
