The pultrusion process produces columns that look similar to cast fiberglass columns but at a more budget-friendly price. Pultruded columns are lighter, easier to ship and install, and strong enough for most applications, with an average allowable load capacity of 15,000 lbs. However, they have a lower load-bearing capacity than cast fiberglass columns, making them ideal for non-structural or moderate-load uses.
